2010 NFL COMBINE
Disappointments from the 2010 Combine: (so far)
-
All of the QB's that are refusing to
throw. I understand they will be more comfortable at their Pro Day
with their WR, their coaches and a scripted # of players but I still
feel they should participate. IF you are invited to the NFL Combine
the only reason a player should miss a drill is due to a medical
reason and doctor signing off on that medical issue.

Russell Okung (OT from Oklahoma State)
suffers a groin issue and will not finish his Combine Drills.

Bryan Bulaga (OT from Iowa) has the
dreaded 33 inch arm length that scares owners and GMs so this alone
may drop him out of the Top 10.

Brandon LaFell (WR from LSU) had a poor
showing in the 40 and was average in all other drills. He, in my
eyes, was a 1st Round talent but may have not done enough to be
slotted there.

Joe Haden (DB from Florida) who many
have rated as the #1 DB in this years draft ran 2 horrible 40 times.
4.57 and 4.60 unofficially. Haden will probably fall out of the Top
10 now come April's Draft.

Terrance Cody from Alabama lost some
weight BUT decided NOT to do the bench press. Why? Cody lacks the
work ethic I think many NFL team covet. It looks as though he will
fall out of the 1st Round now.
